Genestra Magnesium Glycinate Liquid is a pure magnesium glycinate formulation in a refreshing natural apple-pomegranate flavour, providing 250 mg of magnesium per tablespoon. Magnesium is a cofactor in over 300 metabolic reactions and is involved in maintaining muscle function, glucose metabolism and muscle contraction; it also helps maintain bone health by regulating parathyroid hormone and calcitriol to support calcium absorption, and helps metabolize carbohydrates, protein and fat. Magnesium glycinate (magnesium bisglycinate) is a highly water-soluble amino acid chelate that is more bioavailable than magnesium oxide and is a gentle form less likely to cause loose stools. It dissolves completely in water without a cloudy residue or chalky aftertaste, is naturally sweetened with xylitol, and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Each bottle contains 450 mL.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

Recommended dose — Adults: take 1 tablespoon one to two times daily, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. Children and adolescents 9-18 years: take 1 tablespoon daily, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. If preferred, it can be mixed with juice or water. Shake well before each use. Do not drink directly from the bottle. Caution: Some people may experience diarrhea at doses greater than 351 mg per day. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
