Genestra Active Chewable B12 with L-Methylfolate combines the body's preferred active forms of two key B vitamins in a natural cherry-flavoured chewable tablet: methylcobalamin (the active form of vitamin B12) and Metafolin — calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, the active form of folate. Each tablet provides 1,000 mcg of methylcobalamin and 400 mcg of L-methylfolate. The formula supports normal carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, helps form red blood cells, helps prevent vitamin B12 deficiency, and helps maintain healthy plasma levels of homocysteine — methylcobalamin acts as a cofactor while L-methylfolate donates a methyl group to re-methylate homocysteine to methionine. It is ideal for vegans. Each bottle contains 60 chewable tablets.
