Collagen is the major structural component of skin, hair, nails, joints and bones. In order to localize collagen production, Dermal Collagen Peptides use leading bioactive peptides, clinically proven to target collagen production and counter collagen decline - directly at dermal tissue.
Dermal Collagen Peptides consist of Type I and Type III bovine peptides known as VERISOL®. These peptides specifically signal and simulate fibroblast cells to synthesize collagen production in the skin and nails. Their amino acid profile is predominantly made up of small peptides in the range of 4-5 amino acids (2kDa or Kilodaltons) or less. This is important because small peptides allow for absorption of the entire peptide chain without being broken down during digestion.
Multiple, double-blind, randomized placebo controlled trials have been published on these bioactive peptides and proven their effectiveness for skin health. Research has found that supplementing for 4 weeks with these bioactive peptides can increase skin elasticity by up to 15% and increase collagen content by 60%.
