Genestra Ubiquinol 100 mg provides 100 mg of ubiquinol — the reduced, active form of coenzyme Q10 — in each softgel. Because it is already in its reduced state, ubiquinol is more readily used by the body than conventional ubiquinone CoQ10, particularly in older adults whose ability to convert CoQ10 may decline. CoQ10 is found in the mitochondria of nearly every cell, where it plays a central role in cellular energy (ATP) production, and it acts as a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative damage and helps maintain cardiovascular health. The ubiquinol is dissolved in oil within the softgel for enhanced absorption. Each bottle contains 30 softgels.
