Each capsule offers 17.6 billion CFU from seven research-driven probiotic strains — including three species of Lactobacilli (such as L. rhamnosus HN001 and L. acidophilus La-14) and two species of Bifidobacteria — to help restore and maintain healthy vaginal flora. Lactobacilli are the dominant microorganisms in a healthy vagina, where they compete with other microbes, lower vaginal pH through organic acids, and produce antimicrobial compounds. The blend also helps colonize the large and small intestines to support gastrointestinal health, and the added cranberry fruit extract helps prevent recurrent urinary tract infections in women.
