Genestra HMF Baby F is a probiotic powder for formula-fed babies, providing 10 billion CFU per scoop from a combination of Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactobacillus paracasei, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis to help support gastrointestinal health. In a clinical trial, infants aged 0-6 months supplemented with this formula showed no increase in adverse events, doctor visits, or changes in mothers' assessment of infant health. It also provides prebiotic fibre — fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and galactooligosaccharides (GOS) similar to the oligosaccharides naturally found in breast milk — for additional microflora support. The powder dissolves easily into milk, formula or water. Each container holds 66 g.

Recommended dose — Infants: add 1 scoop of powder to milk, formula or water and mix until dissolved; give as directed, at least 2 to 3 hours before or after antibiotics, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. Contains milk. Caution: Do not use if your child has an immune-compromised condition. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if your child has fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Discontinue use if symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days. Store under refrigeration. Keep out of reach of children.
