Annatto-E 150 is a distinctive tocopherol-free, tocotrienols-only supplement derived from the annatto tree. Annatto is the most abundant source of tocotrienols, containing 100% tocotrienols (90% delta and 10% gamma isomers) with no tocopherols. Each softgel of Annatto-E 150 provides 150 mg of delta/gamma tocotrienols. Unlike typical vitamin E supplements, which are high in tocopherols and low or devoid of tocotrienols, tocotrienols offer unique benefits across various tissues, supporting multiple aspects of health. Research suggests that tocopherols, particularly alpha-tocopherol, might hinder the therapeutic effects of tocotrienols, making it preferable to use tocotrienols alone, without tocopherols.
